SCR Pro got suspended and my Developer Account got terminated

In the email from Google Play I got the following information as the reason for susspension: "Violation of the dangerous products provision of the Content Policy and sections 4.3 and 4.4 of the Developer Distribution Agreement." They haven't provided any details regarding the substance of alleged violation.

Apparently the recent Google Play blog post "Developers now have more insight into why apps are rejected or suspended, and they can easily fix and resubmit their apps for minor policy violations." is just a marketing hype.

After some digging I found the following post on XDA which says that apps no longer can modify SELinux enforcing state. Apparently some developers got warnings about this issue and had two weeks to fix it. I wasn't that lucky :-(

SCR Screen Recorder root switches SELinux to permissive mode during recording as the workaround for couple bugs but it's by no mean the crucial feature of SCR. If I know that it's now considered forbidden I would have removed it.

At the moment I'm appealing and trying to restore my account.
I hope that it'll succeed so I'm not distributing APK.

In case it fails, rest assured that I'll find some way to distribute SCR Screen Recorder and that the ones who already purchased SCR Pro won't have to pay for it again.

I'm sorry that for disruptions but with this level of communication with Google Play that's best I can do!

For the HTC One M9, the Taiwanese phone maker has ditched to 4 MP UltraPixel camera for a larger 20 MP sensor. Users have complained about the performance of the the new camera in low light conditions and for macroshots and now the manufacturer is addressing that issue.

HTC announced that a new One M9 Android 5.0 Lollipop update is pushed to AT&T and T-Mobile customers. Since the runs Android 5.0 out of the box, all the Lollipop-specific goodies such as Material Design, Android Runtime, redesigned notifications bar and Quick Settings, new Overview section, lock screen notifications, improved battery statistics, dynamic status bar, multi-user support, Smart Lock, Screen Pinning, or heads-up notifications came pre-loaded, so don’t expect any new features after you update your phone.

The software update for the AT&T model has version number 1.32.502.31 and, according to the changelog, it arrives with camera improvements, thermal improvements, and various bug fixes. On the other hand, the T-Mobile update has version number 1.32.531.33 and brings camera, BlinkFeed, and user experience improvements.

Just like any software update, the new HTC One M9 Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being released in waves, which means that it can take days until it becomes available for everyone. When your phone becomes eligible to receive the new firmware, a system update message should appear in the notifications bar. Tap on it, choose ‘Download now’, wait until the download is completed, then select ‘Install now.’ Your phone should reboot and install the new firmware. In case the system update notification failed to appear, you would also want to perform a manual check under Settings > System updates > Check now.

Since we are dealing with a minor update, the update file shouldn’t be too big. Anyway, we are recommending you to download it using a Wi-Fi network to avoid unwanted data charges. HTC also recommends to have the battery charged at at least 35% so the phone wont shut down during the installation.
